Kelly Scott is a professional performer, voice teacher, vocal coach, and music director currently residing in the State College, PA area. She is a graduate of the Steinhardt School at New York University holding a Masters of Music in Classical Vocal Performance. Kelly is also an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) where she serves on the Eastern Region Board, Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME) and the Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA).

You can find Kelly’s voice students Off-Broadway and on National Tours, as well as accepted to top university music programs across the country, such as Pace University, Manhattan School of Music, New York University, & the American Music & Dramatic Academy to name a few.

Outside of the university setting, Kelly’s students have participated in summer programs such as Interlochen Arts Academy & MPulse Summer Performing Arts Institute, performed as leads in their local community musicals, and lead successful pop & rock bands.

The studio currently functions on two main types of membership: full time and part time, as well as drop in options as spots are available.

Full Time Studio Members:
The bulk of our studio! Full time members receive 46 lessons a year with weeks off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and a week in the summer.

Part time studio members elect to have 2 lessons per month with a 3 month minimum commitment.

While most voice lessons take place virtually via Zoom, Kelly also teaches out of her home studio located in Bellefonte, PA.

It is encouraged that all in person students should be COVID-19 vaccinated.

Kelly is currently only accepting new students into her roster who are ages 15 and up, or on a case by case basis.
