About Us
Your Voice. Your Story. Your Studio.
In our studio, we believe singing should be a space for discovery, confidence, and joy. Every voice is unique, and every singer deserves the chance to explore their sound, work through the tricky spots, and grow into their artistry with freedom and ease.
Since Kelly began teaching in 2014, she has worked with hundreds of singers of all ages, backgrounds, and styles. Today, with a team of voice experts by her side, Kelly Scott Studios is committed to making professional-level voice training accessible to every singer, anywhere. Because we know there’s a teacher for every voice, and that every voice is capable, unique, and worth celebrating.

Kelly Scott
I’m an evidence-based voice specialist, professional vocalist, music director and vocal coach with over a decade of experience helping singers build strong, healthy voices they can count on. I believe every singer deserves to feel empowered, supported, and excited about what their voice is capable of.
With years of experience performing in both classical and musical theatre, plus more than a decade as a music director, I’ve seen what it takes to perform with confidence from both sides of the stage—under the lights and in the pit. My teaching blends research-backed technique with real-world performance insight so you can explore your artistry, discover your unique sound, and build the kind of skill and confidence that lasts. Every lesson is about giving you the tools to trust your voice, share it with joy, and feel proud of the music you make.
Whether you’re auditioning for music programs, lighting up your local stage, or singing purely for the love of it, there’s always a place for you here.
Dr. Nick Klein
Singing Voice Rehabilitation Specialist • Doctor of Musical Arts | University of Washington • Mix + Belt | Cross Genre Singing • Cleveland, OH + Online Worldwide
With over a decade of experience, I’ve taught singers of all ages and levels—middle school through adult—in styles ranging from folk, pop, and musical theatre to jazz and classical. My teaching is grounded in the belief that healthy vocal technique, built through focused work on breath, phonation, resonance, registration, and articulation, empowers singers to perform with confidence and artistry in any genre.
As a Singing Voice Rehabilitation Specialist (SVRS-VT), I also bring advanced training to support singers recovering from vocal injury or pathology. I work in collaboration with medical voice teams—typically a laryngologist and speech-language pathologist—who provide diagnosis and initial care before referring singers to me for evaluation and a personalized recovery plan. Much like athletes returning to peak performance, singers thrive with a coordinated approach to restore function. Helping singers reclaim their voices is a profound privilege, and many emerge not only recovered but with greater technical insight and artistic freedom than before.
I’m deeply committed to ongoing learning in pedagogy, repertoire, and teaching strategies so I can meet each singer where they are and adapt to their evolving needs. Whether preparing for auditions, competitions, professional engagements, or singing simply for joy, my goal is to support each student’s growth and help them feel confident, capable, and connected to their voice.
